Citrus Marinated Fava Beans
This recipe is a blend of sweet lemon and orange, salty perfection from himalayan salt and smooth earthy deliciousness of the Fava beans all blended together.
- ½ cup blanched fava beans*
- 1-tablespoon olive oil
- ½ lemon, zested
- ½ orange, zested
- ¼ teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 2 slices good sourdough bread
In a mixing bowl add the fava beans, lemon and orange zest, olive oil and salt.
Mix everything together and let it sit for 20 minutes.
After the fava beans have marinated spoon them onto the slices of bread.
Grate a little extra citrus of your choice on the fava beans and garnish with Himalayan salt.
